Landfall Trust Artist-in-Residence Artist Fine Art Print Sales

The sale of artwork created by Landfall's Artist-in-Residence artist helps to support the Landfall Trust.

The signed fine-art print Kent Cottage at Landfall, by the late Newfoundland artist Gerald Squires, directly supports long-term preservation and conservation of the historic 200-yeard old Kent Cottage. This beautifully reproduced limited edition giclée print measures 14” x 19” on 18” x 24” Hahnemuhle William Turner paper.  It is available for $250 unframed, plus shipping.  Each of the 150 copies is numbered and signed by the artist.  Purchase is available by cheque through the Landfall Trust directly.

Elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, appointed to the Order of Canada, receiptent of the Her majesty's Golden Jubilee Award and inducted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Art Council's Hall of Honor, the late Mr. Squires crafted a full palette. During his residency, Gerald created the limited edition Kent Cottage at Landfall print and gave an illustrated lecture; the proceeds from the print sales support the Trust's Kent Cottage conservations efforts. These watercolour reprints of Mid-20th Century Brigus Scenes, by Landfall’s founder, Bradley Jacob Folensbee, Jr. (Jake), directly supports the Landfall Legacy Endowment. These beautiful reproductions are available as 8 x 10” images on 10 x 12” fine-art cotton paper, unframed, for $35 and 5 x 7” images on 8 x 10” fine-art cotton paper with a single, neutral-tone, matt frame for $25. Landfall Press

The Landfall Press publishes select works of art and manages the Trust’s website.  As with the Trust, the Landfall Press is a voluntary effort.  Proceeds from the sale of limited edition prints and photographs support the Trust’s cultural and heritage programs, and the preservation and conservation of the 11-acre Landfall property and Kent Cottage, a Registered Heritage Structure.
